1: Celebrated the New Year.

2: Took my mum to see Scrooge and spent the whole evening comparing it to the disney version.

3: Finally got to see We Will Rock You. (Did I mention I like musicals?)

4: Read my book instead of doing my job. It was more productive.

5: Have been given a week to decide what I want to do about my job after telling my boss that I hate it and think the company is a load of crap.

I doubt I will do anything funnier this month than trying to keep up with a room full of people who actually know what they are doing, don't get sidetracked easily by pretty lights, and listen to what the teacher says.

Two guys asked me if I could actually let them lead. I hadn't even realised I'd stopped them from doing so, I was too busy trying to work out what it was I was supposed to be doing.

Ah well, I'm giving it six weeks and then I'm quitting. There's only so much fun I can take. To be honest, I probably wouldn't go back but the bar is really cheap.

Well I actually had a blast in Berlin. Despite the fact that due to the heavy fog we had down here on the day our plane was about 40 minutes late departing, which in turn messed up my schedule for the day, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. With a bit of creative altering we did everything we wanted to, even if it did mean I wouldn't let anyone get anything to eat or go to the toilet. Think I might now be sacked from playing tour guide, but it was worth it.

Having never flown to another country before just for 4 hours of shopping and sight seeing I'm still surprised by how well it all went. I even got to sleigh down a huge ice slope on a rubber ring. To be honest, it wasn't really all that steep but when you're kind of scared of heights and falling it's considered huge.

And tomorrow I'm going to a jive dance class...Why?

Okay, I'm clearly rubbish at this lj thing. I'll try harder.

I'm currently 2 days into my 5 days off.

The 1st day I spent running around trying to find something to wear to a company Christmas do I didn't want to go to in the first place. Ended up walking into a shop and just picking up random stuff because I'd had enough. Showed up an hour late but just in time for BINGO! I work for this multi million company and the best they can come up with is a very badly organised bingo game which we had to pay £5 to take part in. Is it really any wonder why I hate my job?

The 2nd day I spent babysitting my nephew.

Tomorrow I will be babysitting again but it's my other 2 nephews this time.

On Friday I am traipsing around Berlin for the day. If you never hear from me again, you know why.

And that leaves me Saturday to actually enjoy having some time off on.

When I'm drunk I'm used to saying the wrong words. How the hell can I manage to type the wrong ones? For instance, just now I typed that instead of the.

And I just made a post somewhere but now I can't find it. Worryingly, I think the aliens are messing with my brain again. Screw them.

I really like the drunken goat, everyone should have one.

Last Friday I really wanted to get ill so I could call in sick. I now have a disgusting cold and the next three days off. If I ever whine again about not being ill, shoot me. Please.

And I've run out of tissues...

Orry has a new fic at Area52. From the summary alone I can't wait to read it.

Summary: The Jackson-O'Neills venture to Muyil, Mexico on a dig. While there, Daniel gets a big surprise, one that jeopardizes not only his future, but also that of their children.

I reckon they run into a bunch of FDAS members in Mexico.

If anyone has read this already, please don't spoil it for me, I'm saving it to read for when I go to Mexico.

And no, I'm not planning on going to Mexico ever.

Today I discovered that I still have two whole boxes of candy sticks left over from SG-10. Have come to the conclusion that I spent too much of the con talking to people and not enough of it eating candy sticks, although I did have a flashback today of running up and down the steps around a group of people so I obviously didn't spend the whole con chatting.

In other news, for the first time ever, I've come back from a con and not been ill! I can't believe it. I'd be really happy but I was hoping to come down with something today atleast so I could call in sick tomorrow :-(
